Proxy Server Center

VPN-X can provide proxy server function. You can use those proxy features with VPN, so you can get more flexible network structure and more secure network, because you can hide the real application server behind the VPN and proxy.

Proxy Server can be

• Socks4/5
• UDP/TCP transparent(map or forward) proxy
  
• Web(HTTP) porxy
• FTP proxy
• DNS proxy
• Telnet proxy

Double click(or click the "Modify" button) the proxy server table record to view proxy detail information.

(1)Type: Proxy Server Type

(2)Instance Index: The proxy server instance id. For example you can create many TCP forward proxy server instances, the first one is 0, the second id is 1,  the third one is 2 , and so on. Proxy instance id is generated by Proxy Server Center automatically, you need not care about it.

(3)Name: You can give a name to the proxy server instance.

(4)Listen Port: The proxy server instance will listen on that port.

(5)Listen on All Local Address: Whether listen on all local address. For secure purpose, we recommend you to disselect it.

(6)Listen IP Address: You can set which IP should be listened. For example, you can add VPN address 192.168.240.1. If there are two or more IPs, you can separate them by semicolon(;), for example: 192.168.240.1;192.168.1.8

(7)Remote Host: Where should be forwarded to? You can input IP or server name.

(8)Remote Port: The remote port.

(9)Start with VPN-X: If you want to let the proxy server instance run at the moment the VPN-X started.
