We have 2 sites for our company 700Km each other.
One day my boss come to me asking for the availability to put in connection this to site with a protected connection.

In the past we used hardware VPN but client that need to connect outside office need to have a VPN client licence that should be payed a part for the use.

Moreover no multi OS support.

I was looking to XXXXXXXX(removed by us for policy about competitors) too but client configuration is not soo simple for noob.

After a lot of search I found YYYYYYYYY(removed by us for policy about competitors). Good solution but if the third-party server goes down you was not able connect anymore any other peers.

I wasn't too much satisfied and searched around for a VPN Sofware Client/Server and I found VPN-X.

Server is shareware, license file permanent !! Price is not soo high.
Client is Freeware !!

Multiplatform OS support - Server Client Style (no more external server) Was what I was searching.

Configuration was really simple server side !! .
Client configuration a piece of cake too !!

In 10 minutes I've got my VPN UP and running !!

To deeply look at it's performance I asked for a temporay licence (free too) and after 7 days of testing I was fully satisfied and buy some license.

Now my 2 site are connected 24/24h and my boss is happy like me.

But the good news was not ended ... Once you buy a licence you have a great value add ... the Technical support !!

Really professionals, fast and reliable.
I've asked for some special feature client side ... well I've got fully working paying only a small price !!

Guys now I've all my problem solved.
